"2020 study of Australian females on perimenopause and menopause (46-69 year old women) found that "women had a good understanding of the immediate effect of menopause, their lack of knowledge of the long term consequences is concerning"

Hormones help care for your health

Hormones are secretly working away protecting your heart, bones, and brain. As the hormone profile changes across the lifespan issues in heart disease, osteoporosis, dementia, diabetes and depression are likely consequences of hormone deficiency which START in perimenopause.

These changes can be ameliorated through nuances adjustments and an understanding of these changes and how they present.

As hormones shift, don't get stuck, know your choices.

What works in your 20s is different to what works in your 30s, so why force this unique window into a rhythm from the past?? Shifting gear from what you’ve always done to understand what to do and what the change should be.

This course will not leave the importance of mental health and self-awareness unaddressed.

The intention is for you to understand your unique body, mind and life experience from all domains of life and see the shifts that you can forecast with your newly acquired knowledge and view of yourself.

It may not be all rainbows but will be directed by intentions for intact sense of self and better health guided by self awareness and behaviour change.

Is this course for you?

The quick answer is:

If you are 37 and a planner or 40 + and noticing changes in your health & body patterns (ie: things that were predictable before aren't predictable anymore). Or you are straight up, having perimenopausal symptoms.

It can also be a question about HOW DO YOU PLAN?

  • * If you are still cycling but you're a planner and approaching your 40 this is the window to act and support yourself before the change
  • * Maybe you've had a medical treatment that has forced you into early menopause
  • * You may want to understand what it means for someone who is going through this transition but isn't you

“ The changes I've made have resulted in me feeling stronger and more at ease with the changes I have experienced in my body shape as a result of perimenopause. Unna’s sessions have enabled me to re-think my attitude to exercise, food and how this impacts my decisions on how I maintain a healthy body and mind. ”

Rachael (46 years old)

“When Unna announced her new course, I didn’t hesitate to jump on board. Now having finished I believe I’m on the right track to transition through peri-menopause and menopause strongly which makes me feel very positive about living a healthy and vibrant life going forward, I feel I’m in control and not being re-active but pro-active. ”

Unna Goldsworthy

I’m Unna, the founder of UNNA Movement and principal Exercise Physiologist. For me, the practice of exercise physiology and the ongoing support of my clients is an energising way to spend a working day. Many of my clients naturally gravitate towards my practice - it is wonderful. My path of care has been sculpted by years of experience. From my early years as a porter and physiotherapy assistant at a major rehabilitation hospital through to university qualifications, research and training across various hospital departments, to my current mode of practice and lecturing. Technically, I define my approach in a neuroplasticity model of rehabilitation, where the strength of skilled intuition towards the psychology of the client, is at its most powerful.
